(CLL) PHN-LCKN just a day away

Here’s an age old question that philosophers have been wrestling with for ages: When there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who are you gonna call? Well, when you attend LVHRD’s eye opening (CLL) PHN-LCKN on November 7th at MoMA, the answer to that astronomically profound question is “nobody” as your cell phone will be taken away from you and placed onto a large mosaic. There, it will ring alonside other phones and create a colorful collage while your phone goes straight to voice mail far from within your grasp.
This is all in part of LVHRD’s continuing contention against the calamities of cell phone correspondence. And after revealing countless examples of SMC’s evil existence, from flipping fish to people falling out of trees, LVHRD stands firmly behind the decision to hold this most revealing event.
But don’t get your Spiderman underwear all in a bunch. As much as we wholeheartedly stand against the oppression of having a cell phone grafted to your ear all day, LVHRD has no cruel intentions to do any harm to it as it will be bagged, tagged, and given back to you at the end of the event. But the question is, after having been rid of it for an entire night, will you really want it back?
Art rock band, Les Savy Fav will be providing the tunes, while DJ’s from the Turntablelab will spin throughout the night. PopRally, a new series at MoMA will also be available to check out. Dewar’s, Brooklyn Brewery, and smartwater will be providing complimentary beverages.
Doors for the event open at 6 PM and Les Savy Fav performs at 8 PM. To purchase tickets, visit LVHRD.com.
