3 Common Mistakes to Getting Abs

Many people make mistakes when it comes to building a six pack. There are common myths among the world of building muscle especially when it comes to building a lean mid section. Here are 3 listed right here.

1) Doing hundreds of crunches a day. This is the least effective way to really build six pack abs. It is strenuous on your back and neck. So avoid doing this at all costs. Instead focus on doing other exercises that target the abs directly and others that work them well.

2) Focusing only on ab exercises. The truth about six pack abs is that doing compound exercises that do not target the abs directly but they still develop a deeper six pack. Do not just focus on doing crunches. Do other exercises like push ups and squats.

3) Buying into gimmicks. Whether it is diet pills, other supplements, or ab equipment you see advertised on the TV it is all a big waste of time and money. First of all why spend hundreds of dollars on some new ab contraption when you can get a better six pack by doing way more effective ab exercises?

As for the diets and supplements all you need is proper nutrition and a great workout plan .That is exactly how you can succeed.

Eat healthy natural foods like lean meats, nuts, beans, fruits, and vegetables. Consume 5-6 small meals a day to keep your belly from sticking out.

Eat every 3 hours so you avoid hunger which leads to temptations. Do all this and you will be well on your way to six pack abs.
