Our Object

The Aromatherapy Store is dedicated to simplifying and taking the secret and confusion  out of the, sometimes amazing, world of essential oils and aromatherapy. As an industry and an art,  started within the unsophisticated realms of cottage and home therapeutics, we search to make the oil’s benefits manifest and visible to all. Whether youre an fully fledged Aromatherist,  a Fully Qualified Massage Therapist, or just somebody who is awake to the wonderworking qualities of aromatherapy and the use of essential oils, we trust you’ll obtain what youre searching for here.

Organic or Not Organic?

We root our oils from minor independent manufacturers in India, China, South East Asia , Eastern Europe and the Southern Mediterranean area. Where workable we try to origin from organic manufacturers who farm and crop responsibly. However this isn’t always workable – and in particular this is typical of manufacturers and people exercising the soil in deprived regions of India and China. These individuals are frequently cultivating plants in a minute holding positions and as such cannot afford to devote their ground to organic production. They oftentimes grow the plants for essential oils alongside vegetables and fruit for sale to the local marketplaces, ans as such  rely on localised grocery stores and buyers – and in a impoverished country their purchasers cannot afford to pay off a premium when they themselves are holding out on a hand to mouth basis. These individuals can see ‘organic produce’ as the lavishness of more rosy nations.

At The Aromatherapy Store, we as a society purpose to cultivate together with these self-governing producers, who fall below even the echo sounders of Fair Trade Industry organisers and establish mutually beneficial economic and business kinships and we’ll be featuring individual producers chronicles in the future months so you’ll get a opportunity to see who is profiting from the commerce that passes here in the West!
