LighterLife Diet My Experience
February 27, 2010 on 3:08 pm | By admin | In Health and Fitness | Comments OffTwo years ago my parents joined lighterlife as they wanted to look nice for my sisters wedding and they lost around 7 stone between them a success? Sort of is the answer. Losing the weight is actually really quick to do (I lost a stone in 2 weeks on it myself) but my god its torture. lighterlife diet consists of packets of soups, milkshakes and ‘tasty’ bars. And you have four of them throughout the day as a replacement for breakfast, lunch and dinner. These packs have been scientifically produced to include all the nutrients the body will need (so we are told) but are horrible, except the milkshakes (actually you use water for these). And you will need to drink at least 8 pints of water a day, this is to trick your body in to thinking your full (and is by far the hardest part). lighterlife does have a lot of choices, the soup range has vegetable, mushroom, sweet Thai and more. The milkshakes come in the usual flavours banana, chocolate, strawberry, vanilla and a few more. The bars are peanut and fruit (there may be more but I can only comment on the ones my parents brought home). They also brought home a blackcurrant flavoured powder you can add to water to have some variety which tasted a bit like sherbet to me. The price was an insane amount about £75 a week! (around £2.50 a packet of powder and £150 a week for the pair of them) For this you get the replacement meals and a weekly group meeting where an advisor will talk and give encouragement whilst, I assume, everyone there thinks about eating them.
