How the electronic cigarette can revolutionize the face of smoking

The electronic cigarette is one of the newest marvels and greatest inventions that has come to the world since the oil era began.  It is changing lives by the millions, eliminating second hand smoke, reducing tar and winning the hearts of medical professionals, smokers, family members and the general public.

The electronic cigarette is made up of three basic components, the components listed are a battery, and atomizer, and a refillable cartridge.  When the three components listed above are put together they complete an electronic cigarette.  But since the electronic cigarette has 4000 less chemicals than traditional tobacco cigarettes, some health professionals are stating that is over 1000 times safer than tobacco cigarettes.

The new product that has taken the smoking industry by storm and has come up against very little scrutiny by the public but has encountered resistance from anti-smoking groups in governmental agencies over the past few years.  The problem with these anti-smoking groups is that they are funded by pharmaceutical companies that stand to lose $2.3 billion annually in smoking cessation revenues.  The Federal government alone stands to lose over $2.30 per pack of traditional cigarettes sold in the United States.

Pharmaceutical smoking cessation aids only work for about 5% of the smoking population, but the electronic cigarette, according to recent government studies helps 45% of smokers leave tobacco for good over an eight week.  Losing 45% of their market share is not an acceptable number to most of the pharmaceutical companies that are lobbying directly or by a proxy through the anti-smoking groups that they fund.

With millions of smokers that have switched to the electronic cigarette in the United States over the past few years, tobacco, pharmaceutical, and government entities are starting to feel the pain of lost revenues.  While smokers and bystanders are feeling better and feeling safer knowing that the products that are taking over the tobacco industry are much better for the general public, they fear unwanted attacks may put an end to this much smarter alternative.

Electronic cigarettes starter kits are much cheaper than smoking traditional tobacco cigarettes by a 3 to 1 margin on average.  This means that a smoker who had an $1800 per year smoking habit cannot cut that calls down to a more reasonable $600 per year.  All of these benefits and up to making the electronic cigarette one of the most miraculous inventions in history.  Is there any wonder that millions of smokers are making the switch to be smarter alternative.
