Candida syndrome can go for years without a diagnosis. It can appear to be any number of different common ailments, but candida symptoms often appear as a set, and once a physician finally puts them all together then it can be treated. Preventing

Acidophilus taken on a daily basis will lesson candida symptoms, but to effectively treat it a whole change in diet and a cleansing of the body is needed. By avoiding all sugars and carbohydrates, as well as any foods that contains yeasts, you can begin to get candida under control.

Avoid lactose and fructose products, including milk and well aged cheeses. Another is tomato products. No ketchup or mustard. No fermented foods. Avoid fresh fruit and above all, no alcoholic beverages. Drink plenty of pure water.

What To Eat

Vegetables, especially green leafy vegetables are desired, as well as plenty of garlic, and not garlic powder or salt. Get whole cloves and use them as often as you can when cooking. Eat yogurt which contains active cultures.

Eat brown rice instead of white.

Visit your health food store and inquire about some powerful herbs that can be taken to cleanse the body of candida and further lessen  candida symptoms. These should be taken as directed, and normally will be a number of days on and the at least five days off to keep the yeast from becoming immune to the treatment.

Get as many antioxidant rich foods as you can. Blueberries are an excellent choice. You want to reduce the acid in the system, and this is why tomato based foods are not allowed. Lean proteins and especially fish are very good. You can eat eggs and red meat.

Drastically changing your diet and getting supplements that contain acidophilus will greatly increase your chances of treating candida symptoms and preventing it from creating other health problems in the future.

Talk to your health care professional about the possibility that candida is the cause for your current displeasure. It will take some looking into, but do not let anyone tell you your candida symptoms are nothing to worry about. If you feel there is a real issue than it is worth looking into.
