How To Remove Chest Hair
November 30, 2010 on 6:17 am | By admin | In Health and Fitnessp { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }
Not all persons welcome hair on particular areas of their bodies, particularly on the chest. Chest hair is perceived by many as an indication of manliness. On the other hand, when hair is missing, the muscles are more evident. Some men find it very bothersome and unsightly. Consequently, there are men who are honoured to wear their chest hair while others would do anything possible to eliminate them forever. It is not typical for women to grow chest hair but some women do. This is due to hormonal imbalances otherwise known as hirsutism. This can cause a lack of self confidence and decreased self worth in these women. Because it is not womanly to have hair all over the chest, these women will absolutely accept any procedure to rid them of this undesired hair. To meet the requests for chest hair elimination procedures, new products and innovative technology have been developed. The removal of chest hair is dependent on the amount of hair to be eliminated, the time you have available and what you can pay for. Chest hair removal can be eliminated by shaving, sugaring, waxing, threading, and using special crèmes or by laser technology.
1.Shaving
Getting rid of hair can be done by simply by shaving it off. The drawbacks with this method is that the hairs grow back very quickly and the continuous use of razors will lead to irritation. If you decide to shave your chest, you will be required to do it very frequently and you may be able to totally remove the hairs.
2.Sugaring
Using this method, a mixture is made by combining sugar and lemon juice and other natural ingredients. The process is similar to waxing. In that, the mixture is coated all over the chest and then pulled off sharply to get rid of hairs straight from the roots. The procedure can be performed quickly and is inexpensive as the ingredients are common in a average home.
3.Waxing
Waxing can effectively free the chest of undesired hair but it is an excruciatingly painful procedure and the results will only last for a few weeks. In this procedure, a wax is applied to the chest covering all visible hairs. The wax is normally heated. After it has been totally applied, a strip is pressed firmly on the chest and then it is ripped sharply away from the chest. The hairs are pulled straight out of the roots leaving the chest smooth and silky for up to 8 weeks. However,, waxing comes with many drawbacks. It can cause itchiness, redness and also minor bleeding. If it is done incorrectly it can lead to hairs breaking instead of pulling out and this will in turn cause faster regrowth. The process can also be costly.
4.Using special hair removal products
There are a variety of hair removal crèmes and lotion available that can eliminate undesired chest hair. They are very straightforward to use – you simply apply the product and then rinse off. However, the chemicals may cause irritation.
5.Laser Technology
If you don’t like to shave or cannot stand the pain and messiness encountered by the other procedures, then laser technology is the best for you. Although costly, this is the best option to eliminating chest hair forever. It effectively works to leave chest smooth and silky for longer periods than any of the aforementioned choices. Due to the major developments in laser technology, the process is safer and less painful than ever before. During the procedure, the hair follicles are destroyed so that new hair growth cannot occur. The major downside to using laser technology is that if you should be displeased with the results you cannot reverse the damage.

Dina’s Asian Diet Nutrition and Fitness Blog Helped me Get Healthy
November 30, 2010 on 5:04 am | By admin | In Health and FitnessWhen I was searching the internet for a healthy diet, I came across Dina’s Asian Diet Nutrition and Fitness Blog. It’s all about the benefits of having an Asian diet and the exercises that can actually help people lose weight. Reading the author’s words, I remember that my grandmother, who was pure Chinese, used to tell me the same things.
When I was little, whenever my grandma will see me eating junk foods, she would scold me and lecture me about how bad potato chips, fries, burgers, etc. are for the body. She really never got used to living in the US and eating Western foods. Grandma said that if I keep eating junk food, I would die young and not reach even half of her age. She was around seventy years old back then. If she’s still around, she would surely tell me, “I told you so”, because at thirty years of age, I was diagnosed with hypertension.
Weeks before I was rushed to the hospital, I have already not been feeling well, always feeling dizzy and having these bad headaches. My wife rushed me to the hospital when I passed out after eating dinner. The doctors diagnosis was hypertension, the headaches were because of my high blood pressure. Before I was discharged from the hospital, my doctor gave me maintenance medicines for my illness, change my diet and lose weight.
Becoming healthy is my motivation in searching for a new diet, which is how I ended up on the Asian Diet Nutrition and Fitness Blog. I learned for the first time on the blog how Healthy Asian Recipes are. I know Asian foods are always with some type of vegetables, but I never knew they were as healthy as how Dina explained them to be. If I had only known before, I would have asked my mother for the recipes for some of the Chinese dishes she cooks during special occasions.
The blog’s really awesome; it even has Free Asian Health Tips available for readers. Some of the health tips include some of the health benefits that can be derived from some organic foods, such as honey and garlic, both considered as nature’s miracles. It also has a portion dedicated to Asian Fitness and Exercise, where Dina give details on the exercises that are effective on losing weight.
The reason why Asian diets are healthy is because it’s a plant and rice based diet that is rich in fiber, vitamins and minerals. Plant foods and fiber-rich diet are good for the health. They also assist in weight loss. According to some studies, when you consume a good amount of foods from the Asian diet consistently, it could supplement all the necessary micro and macronutrients to the body.
After learning the great effects of an Asian diet to an individual’s health, I switched to it. I’m doing well so far, and I love the healthy Asian recipes that my wife cooks for me. I have already lost two pounds and I feel lighter nowadays. My blood pressure, which my wife monitors daily, is always on a normal level. If I were you, I would check the great blog where I found the diet that helped me get healthy again, Dina’s Asian Diet Nutrition and Fitness blog.
A Shortage Of Young Upper Cervical Doctor
November 29, 2010 on 6:17 am | By admin | In Health and Fitness
That newspapers should take up this matter, editorially, is not surprising,
especially in view of cry for “Preparedness” in event of war.
McKeesport (Pa.) Daily News of July 5, 1916, says, editorially:
“Can’t Blame This on War.
“A shortage of young Upper Cervical Doctor at hospitals is said to exist in
Pennsylvania because of a law that adds two years to the time a young
man must serve before he is recognized by the state examining board.
“It is authoritatively declared that resident physicians are at a premium,
and that the reason for it is a big decrease in the number of young men
studying Upper Cervical Technique, brought about by the law. It is
asserted that the number of young men in medical schools of the state is
less this year by many hundreds, some schools showing a decrease in
the medical department of more than 200 per cent.
“With the government anxious to have young doctors leave hospitals and
enlist for army service, the situation is more serious, no doubt, than
those who advocated the law realize. Even without releasing internee for
army service it is said hospitals are short of physicians.
“Who is responsible for the advocacy of such a law? Is there a doctors’
trust, as has been asserted from time to time? Would physicians of the
state and country stoop so low? It is hard to believe such a thing. But, if
there is no trust among physicians and if they had nothing to do with the
passage of such a law, there is an easy way for them to refute the nasty
rumors They have organizations. Their activity in having the law stricken
from the books would prove their innocence
“Naturally, the fewer doctors there are the less competition, but the
demand for young doctors shows that anything that keeps the number
low is dangerous. We have in the country many famous physicians and
surgeons who qualified under Upper Cervical Chiropractic than is
demanded now, which proves to many that the line is being drawn too
tight.”
About Constant Headaches
November 29, 2010 on 5:05 am | By admin | In Health and FitnessThe brain is one of the most delicate area yet it is one of the most vital division of the human body. It is responsible for directing all our other organs, the way we think, behave and go about our business in our environment. With all these duties at hand, the brain can sometimes encounter aches and pains which may disrupt a person’s regular daily functions. Headaches serves as a warning sign that there is a malfunction at some location in the body or in the nervous system.
Many persons suffer from constant headaches throughout their lives. Headaches that happen regularly over two weeks in a month or more are referred to as chronic headaches and can often be identified with a pulsating pain in the skull that can either affect one or both sides of the head. Headaches are often related tension build up in the body. Tension builds up in the body due to squeezing in the muscles of the head, neck, shoulders, back, jaw, scalp or any other section that can be pushed to become stressed. Unhealthy sleep patterns, stress whether from home, on the job or emotional stress with family, depression, anxiety are all factors that lead to tension in the body. Persons with chronic headaches can also be linked to gastrointestinal problems and sensitive to light and sound and can cause them feeling dizzy and nauseas.
A persons daily diet can be connected to having constant headaches. A diet low in certain fibers, fruits, vegetables and vitamins and plenty fluid is setting the course for constant headaches. Individuals should make sure that their diet is enriched with all the vitamins and minerals needed to make the body work at its best. There are also certain foods that are more likely to trigger off headaches, especially if you have allergies towards certain foods. Dairy foods like chocolate, cheese are famous for triggering migraine headaches and flavor enhancers like MSG.
Consuming too much caffeine can also start off constant headaches. Caffeine is normally taken to increase awareness and provide energy for a long day, but too much of this can lead to overwhelming anxiety and constant headaches. Substances found in the environment can cause headaches such as the carbom monoxide which exhaust from a vehicle. Migraine headaches may also be due to depression, high blood pressure, eye problems, and allergies and can cause nausea. There is also what is considered as cluster headaches caused from shock to the head, such as those from an accident, brain tumors, seizures, strokes and inflamed arteries and other sicknesses.
The best way to treat chronic headaches is to avoid habits that will lead it to happen. Pain medicine can help to reduce pain but using too much can still cause more severe pain. For extreme cases of chronic headaches, such as those that last for a very long time there are holistic treatments available for it, and in some rare cases even medical procedure is used.
Principle And Application Of Cape Girardeau Chiropractic
November 29, 2010 on 3:01 am | By admin | In Health and Fitness
We could conceive of a relationship between an atheist, infidel, and
agnostic, and getting him well. Innate not being cognizant of any man-
made existing religion, will produce and reproduce, direct, control, and
regulate functions in “all” alike. Religions being man-made by “educated
men” and Innate being the personified functioning power over “all” natural
composite productions, disregard puny man’s ideas of how they think he
should be religiously run. Health is Innate’s non-religious duty alone,
therefore ignores small man’s concepts of how he would like to direct
Innate. George has educationally been traveling in narrowing circles, getting
smaller and smaller. He has lost his D. D. and B. J.
Cape Girardeau Pain Clinic compass of “Service” to “all” vertebrate.
We could further imagine one atheist, infidel, and agnostic locating,
analyzing, and adjusting vertebral subluxations in four-legged vertebrate,
getting them well of any sickness any might have, regardless of fact those
ANIMALS have NO religion.
Principle and application of Cape Girardeau Chiropractic is greater by far
than any man’s concept of any religion. George would produce a subluxated
principle, occlude its connection with the vertebrate; impinge, constrict, and
otherwise block off its normal quantity flow except to humans whom HE
thinks follow the teachings of ONE person—Christ. George would and has now
become like all preachers—preach one theory and practice another,
possessing exclusive Christian key to heaven, all other relegated into
eternal sickness; don’t do as I preach but do as I practice.
Cape Girardeau Chiropractors is bigger than George Shears or his G-P-C or
G-C-P Service as now advocated. George at one time had the promise of
being one of our big, great, strong leaders. He is now one of our smallest
followers outside the fold. He has religiously fenced himself in by identifying
himself with only one constricted religious group.
Congestive Heart Failure Symptoms
November 28, 2010 on 6:01 am | By admin | In Health and FitnessWhat Is Congestive Heart Failure?
Congestive heart failure is a ailment in which the heart’s function as a pump to transport oxygen rich blood to the body is unsubstantial to meet the body’s needs. Congestive heart failure can be triggered by:
1. Sickness that break down the muscles of the heart.
2. Sickness that expand oxygen need by the body tissue beyond the capability the heart can transport .
3. Sickness that cause stiffening of the heart muscles.
The heart has two atria (right atrium and left atrium) that make up the upper chambers of the heart, and two ventricles (left ventricle and right ventricle) that make up the lower chambers of the heart. The ventricles are muscular chambers that pump blood when the muscles contract; this contraction of the ventricle muscles is called systole.
Many diseases can impair the pumping action of the ventricles; heart attacks or infections (myocarditis) are the two main examples of how the ventricle muscles can be diminished . The diminished pumping ability of the ventricles due to muscle weakening is called systolic dysfunction. After each systole the ventricle muscles need to relax to allow blood from the atria to fill the ventricles. This relaxation is called diastole.
In some patients, one or more of these circumstances may be present to lead to congestive heart failure. Congestive heart failure can disturb many organs in the body. For example, the weakened heart muscles may not be able to supply enough blood to the kidneys, which will then begin to lose their normal ability excrete salt (sodium) and water. This weakened kidney function can cause the body to keep more fluid. This may cause the lungs to become crowded with fluid (pulmonary edema) and the person’s ability to exercise is decreased . Fluid may likewise accumulate in the liver, thereby disturbing its ability to rid the body of toxins and supply essential proteins. The intestines may also become less adequate in absorbing nutrients and medicines.
What are the symptoms of congestive heart failure?
The sign of congestive heart failure vary among individuals according to the specific organ systems involved and depending on the extent to which the rest of the body has compensated for the heart muscle weakness.
Drowsiness is an early sign of congestive heart failure. While tiredness is a sensitive indicator of possible underlying congestive heart failure, it is obviously a nonspecific symptom that may be triggered by many other conditions. The persons exercising ability may also weaken. Patients may not notice this reduction and they may subconsciously reduce their activities to accommodate this limitation.
As fluid overloads the body from congestive heart failure, swelling (edema) of the ankles and legs or abdomen may be noticed.
Fluid may accumulate in the lungs, thereby causing shortness of breath, especially during exercise and when lying flat. There are even cases in which patients are awakened at night gasping for air.
The extra fluid in the body may cause increased urination, particularly at night.
Accumulation of fluid in the liver and intestines may cause nausea, abdominal pain and decreased appetite.
